SIGNS YOU ARE MAKING PROGRESS ON YOUR PATH

 

This is a handy guide that you can fill in and use to chart your progress and growth. This helps you in many ways, to stay consciously aware of yourself and your environment. To notice and appreciate the growth, which validates you and pushes you forward on your path. To ensure that you are getting value from your teacher, coach or guru and that they are who they say they are.

 

The guide is divided into 5 categories. The Mind, Emotions, Physical Body, Spirituality & your Physical Reality, your outer world.

Start by filling in how you feel right now. Focus on the issues that you want to balance in your life now. I have filled this one in as an example, with questions that cover the main areas most commonly needing balance.

 

Then each week or month, go back and fill in how you are feeling. You will soon be able to see the progress that you are making. After a month you may notice that you no longer feel anxious on waking, or that you are not reacting in floods of tears when someone is a bit stern with you.

 

This will make you feel proud of yourself and give you the confidence to keep going. Sometimes it may feel as though nothing is happening but a quick look back at your guide and you can see that you are making progress, things are changing.

 

As you move forward you will change some of the questions in column A as most should have become balanced and therefore no longer an issue. Keep it up as the growth never stops and these are great reminders of your journey so far.

 

If after a few months of being with a group or mentor and you have put the commitment in but are not showing signs of improvement then this is not the place for you as you are not learning anything.

 

You might get better results with a different style of teaching. Or it may be the teacher themselves are not acting with integrity and actually giving you anything of substance or worse there are many wolves in spiritual clothing.

 

Make sure that you have made the commitment and if you are not seeing results walk away.
